This programme is for participants that are looking for work experience in foreign countries. Enniscorthy Enterprise and Technology Centre works in partnership with the IES Mar de Alborán a Vocational State School in Estepona. John O’ Connor from Enniscorthy Enterprise Centre and Mari Carmen from IES Mar de Alborán were the project coordinators.
The Spanish participants live in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford for a period of three months, working five days a week for normal working hours. The Irish participants live in Estepona for a period of six weeks. They work five days a week for 5 hours a day.
Estepona, Málaga is a picturesque town on the western Costa del Sol; it has a growing population of almost 70,000 inhabitants and its main economic activity is tourism, commerce and fishing.
